Sgt Ford's aircraft (Halifax Mk II JD116 NP-A) was attacking Krefeld on the 21st/22nd June 1943 and were badly shot up by a night fighter.
Some of the crew baled out including Sgt Ford and Sgt Floyd.

In unknown circumstances, Sgt Ford was killed and has no known grave.



He is remembered at the Runnymede Memorial

P/O D C Cameron, who was the captain, finished his tour with a new crew.
