F/O Cameron's aircraft (Halifax Mk II JD116 NP-A) was attacking Krefeld on the 21st/22nd June 1943 and badly shot up by a night fighter.
Some of the crew baled out including Sgt Denys Floyd and Sgt Ford.

However, P/O Cameron, who was the captain, with the remainder of crew successfully returned to base and finished his tour with a new crew.
