|Service||Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve|
|Trade||Wireless Operator, Air Gunner|
|Fate||Killed on active service|
|Awards with 158 Squadron|
|Awards with another Squadron|
|From Squadron||104 Sqn|
For some time after the formation of 158 Sqn in February 1942 it drew some aircrew from 104 Sqn; it's parent Squadron. This is why Sgt Schofield is put down as belonging to 104 Sqn and not 158 Sqn even though he was lost flying on ops with 158 Sqn.
